HC (High Collapse) Series and HCX (Extreme High Collapse) Series are seamless casing designed for oil and gas wells where high pressure is anticipated, such as deep wells, high pressure high temperature wells or formations. HC-Series guarantee higher collapse resistance than the value determined by API TR 5C3, and HCX-Series guarantee the first-class collapse resistance which is even higher than HC-Series. To achieve high collapse resistance, chemical composition, mechanical properties (yield strength, residual stress) and dimension (Diameter-to-thickness ratio (D/t), ovality, eccentricity) are strictly controlled throughout the manufacturing process.
